Accommodation
Dragon Tours can advise upon and arrange
accommodation at a superb range of properties to suit all tastes,
requirements and budgets, including backpacker and youth hostels,
pubs and inns, family B&B's, country houses and 5 star hotels.
We can arrange your accommodation at one location or at a selection
of establishments during your visit. Alternatively, we can plan
your itinerary around your own choice of accommodation. For our
packaged 6 and 10 day tours we use a three centre approach with
stays in each of Wales' three National Parks: Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire
Coast and Snowdonia.
Vehicles:
Dragon Tours uses a range of comfortable vehicles specially chosen
to suit your personal requirements we use regularly updated MPVs
with excellent viewing positions for up to 8 passengers along with
ample luggage space. Our latest edition is a new model VW T5 Shuttle
with individual air conditioning and fridge for chilled drinks
Price Guide:
Private tours:
Personalised itineraries are available from £200 - 300 UK
($400 - 600 US) per day and can cater for groups of between 1 and
8 persons. The cost is for transportation and driver-guiding and
depends on the number of persons in the party and the type of vehicle
used. The cost is the total price (not per person) and can therefore
be around £50 UK ($100 US) per person per day based on a group
of 4. Accommodation, if required, can be arranged from £15
UK ($30 US) per person per night (hostel) to in excess of £200
UK ($400 US) per person per night (5 star hotel) depending on preference.
Excellent quality mid-range B&B accommodation with private bathroom
is available for around £35 UK ($70 US) per person per night
(based on two persons sharing a twin/double room). We will provide
full cost options prior to your arrival and can quote in USD and
other currencies if required.
All Wales Circuit, 6 days (including 5 night's accommodation):
This tour starts and ends in Cardiff and visits all three of Wales
National Parks: Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast and Brecon Beacons.
It visits all the main attractions along the way and includes trips
to The Wye Valley, Tintern Abbey, Caerleon Roman Town, Swansea and
Gower, St. David’s, the Preseli Hills, Harlech Castle, Mount
Snowdon and the Llanberis Pass, Caernarfon World Heritage Site,
Conwy Walled Town, Hay on Wye Booktown, The Black Mountains.
Option One (Bronze) - Backpacker Special (Hostel Dorm) £235
UK ($470 US) pp.
Option Two (Silver) - 2 -3 star hotels, inns, B&Bs (all private
baths) £550 UK ($1100 US) pp. (based on two persons sharing
twin / double room). Single supplement applies.
Option Three (Gold) - 4 star hotels, inns, B&Bs (all private
baths) £800 UK ($1600 US) pp. (based on two persons sharing
twin / double room). Single supplement applies.
Option Four (Platinum) - 5 star hotels (all private baths) £1200
UK ($2400 US) pp. (based on two persons sharing twin / double room).

All Wales Circuit, 10 days (including 9 night's accommodation):
This tour also starts and ends in Cardiff and visits all the places
in the 6 day circuit listed above. However, the additional days
allows the tour to be conducted at a very leisurely pace and allows
much more time to see the various regions that we will be based
in. This is also a three centre package with accommodation in the
three National Parks. This package also allows time for optional
activities and for the visiting of more 'off the beaten track' locations.
